November 2023 Superintendent's Superstar

Antonio Diaz Rodriguez is an 8th grader at Burrel Union Elementary. He is an Honor Student and is President of the Student Council. Antonio goes out of his way to make others feel connected at Burrel Union. His kindness is evident through his actions. Antonio is the first on the list to help anyone who needs it!

Antonio is Burrel’s photographer during sports and other events and uses his picture taking ability to capture his classmates doing their best during the game. His positive attitude affects others, and his forever smile gets others to smile, too. He is a friend to all!

Something that also sets him apart and makes him extraordinary is his ability to stay optimistic. He volunteers to assist others without hesitation. He does an amazing job when he works at the school’s Snack Shack. He is patient, efficient and serves everyone with a smile. Antonio is an Academic All Star. He sets the bar high for his peers by engaging in academics and putting forth his effort in all he is learning.

Antonio plans to go to college and has expressed interest in being either an engineer or architect. Whichever road he decides to travel, Burrel Bear, Antonio Diaz will make a positive difference in this world!
