Public Information - Special Education Records
The Fresno County Office of Education Court and Community Schools will be destroying Special Education records of students with a date of birth on or before 1989. Special Education records during this time frame, including Individual Education Programs (IEP's), will be destroyed on December 19, 2014. If you wish to obtain a copy of your records, you may contact Sheryl Roby, office assistant, at 559-600-4938 prior to December 1, 2014.
FRIENDS program receives 2012 Red Cross ‘Real Heroes’ Community Partner Award
Fresno County Office of Education’s FRIENDS program provides services to infants and toddlers ages birth to 36 months with special needs who live within in the Fresno County Special Education Local Plan Area (SELPA). Because of their contributions and commitment to the families that they serve, the FRIENDS team recently received the Red Cross, Real Heroes Community Partner Award, presented to a community group, neighborhood, organization or local company that consistently demonstrates a commitment to making a difference in the community.
Adult Transition Program Graduation Honors 64 Graduates
On Friday evening, May 27, 2011, The Fresno County Office of Education will honor the 64 graduates of the FCOE Adult Transition Programs class of 2011. The graduation ceremony will be held at the Golden Palace Event Center and will begin at 7:00 pm. Educational staff members, family, friends, and community partners are invited to attend.
