Equity Conference

In the inaugural Equity Conference hosted by the Fresno County Superintendent of Schools, over three hundred educators gathered to explore and implement equitable teaching practices. Dr. Jeff Duncan Andrade emphasized the distinction between equal and equitable education, highlighting the need for a dynamic environment that addresses individual needs. The conference also featured student-led workshops, promoting student voices in discussions about educational equity, and Superintendent Copher expressed optimism about the positive impact of this collective effort on the educational community.
