August Superintendent’s Superstar shines

Jalen Bailey, age 8, founded Jalen’s Bakery with his mom, Sharhonda Mahan. Jalen started the business to save money so he and his single mom can buy a home.

“I just want me and my mom to be happy in it,” said Jalen of his plan. Jalen loves to bake everything from scratch and loves to see others happy when they try his desserts.
