Bryan honored as August Employee of the Month
It is with pleasure that we honor Aaron Bryan, Director of the Visual and Performing Arts department, as the August 2019 Employee of the Month.
Aaron is extraordinary in both his personal and professional interactions with colleagues, school districts and the public. In addition to his technical expertise in teaching the arts to students and teachers, he excels in his interpersonal skills. Aaron is always kind, accessible and never leaves a room without making sure everyone is laughing.
Every summer, Aaron leads two outstanding programs, the Fresno County Youth Choir and the Stages Theatre program. Aaron guides and inspires students to be the “next generation” of professional artists.
Not only does Aaron run a top-notch department and has a growing fan base of teachers and administrators across Fresno County, he has established his reputation among arts educators, advocates and donors across the state. He promotes the importance of arts education to the public at every opportunity. Along with being a charismatic leader to his team, he is the go-to person for everything creative with his FCSS colleagues.
In his limited free time, Aaron is a dedicated husband and father to five children. He is involved in many events and activities with his family and church.
“Music and theater are the reasons why I went to high school,” said Aaron of his love for the arts as a student, teacher and now an administrator. “I came to school for the comradery. I want to create that environment for students, as well.”
