CART wins Career Skills Challenge grand championship

The Center for Advanced Research and Technology won the grand championship trophy at the Fresno Regional Occupational Program’s Career Skills Challenge on March 26 at Fresno City College. The challenge included 1,350 students from more than 35 schools in Fresno, Madera and Mariposa counties.

Students demonstrated their career technical education skills in 41 categories, including construction, technology, welding, robotics, auto mechanics, medical, design, firefighting and more. CART brought 216 students to participate in the event and has won the competition for three years in a row.
