The County’s Finest Educator’s Honored at Gala Event
On November 7, 2012 more than 1,000 educators, family, friends and community leaders gathered to celebrate the education communities finest at the 2012 Fresno County Educator of the Year Awards. More than 70 nominees were honored at this year’s event sponsored by the Educational Employees Credit union in the categories of Teacher, Administrator and Classified Employee.
Congratulations to Fresno County’s 2012 winners:
- Teacher of the Year – William “Mag” Magnusson, ROP Teacher / Coach, Firebaugh High School, Firebaugh Las-Deltas Unified School District
- Administrator of the Year – Ed Gomes, Principal, Yosemite Middle School, Fresno Unified School District
- Employee of the Year – Salvador Cisneros, Classroom Aide / Coach, Burrel Union Elementary
