Fresno County Youth Choir featured in magazine

The Fresno County Youth Choir is featured in the new edition of Focus Forward magazine, now available at businesses throughout Fresno County. The third edition of the magazine, first produced in 2012, tells the stories of individuals who have overcome adversity to achieve success.

FCYC’s mission is to create multicultural unity through music that fill the heart, lifts the soul and changes lives. The choir, under the direction of Aaron Bryan, Visual and Performing Arts Consultant with the Fresno County Office of Education, is composed of high school and college students. Each summer, the choir develops a program around a particular theme, such as homelessness, poverty, freedom, foster care and racism in the 21st century. They compose and produce original and traditional music around the theme.
