October Superintendent’s Superstars shine

Students from the Fresno County Office of Education’s Adult Transition Program were honored as the October Superintendent’s Superstars. The six students, Joseph Ruiz, Ignacio Cruz, Christian Castro, Charlie Allshouse, Tamara Cabrera and Daniel Frisby, volunteer every week at the Valley Animal Center and the Central California SPCA.

FCOE’s Adult Transition Program serves students 18-22 years old in its Special Education department. The program teaches students academics, vocational, self-help and social skills.
