September Superintendent’s Superstar shines

Danielle Pacheco is a senior at Kerman High School. She has been involved in leadership and community service since elementary school, when she was first elected 4th grade class president and participated in Pennies for Patients for Valley Children’s Hospital.

It was at Kerman Middle School that she made a goal to become the first student at KMS to receive the President’s Gold Medal for more than 100 hours of community service. She proudly accomplished that goal and continued to become the first student as Kerman High School to be awarded the President’s Gold Medal last year. She is on track to complete 100-plus hours again in her senior year.
