August Employee of the Month

It is with pleasure that we honor Mac Souvannasane, Senior Human Resources Specialist in Human Resources, as the August 2022 Employee of the Month.

Simply put, Mac is extraordinary! Her drive, delivery of service, dedication and determination are unparalleled. Mac joined the FCSS family as a Human Resources Specialist in January 2006 and is now the Senior Human Resources Specialist responsible for ensuring compliance requirements are met when processing the conditions of employment,  employment contracts, transcript evaluations, verification of employment and experience, loan forgiveness applications, separations, maintaining the HR system databases and records, tracking, maintenance and audits of position licensures, certifications and credentials and more for all FCSS management, supervisory, confidential, unrepresented, certificated and classified retirees.

This is a huge undertaking on behalf of the County Superintendent. Anyone who meets Mac knows this -- her positivity is contagious! She has an incredible gift and ability to genuinely connect with others. Whether Mac is on-boarding a new employee or guiding an employee as they transition to retirement, their time with Mac is unique and special. Mac is a mentor to her colleagues, extremely modest, a joy-magnet and a magnificent mother to her son, Ethan. She is an example to her entire team.
