Fresno County Early Care & Education Economic Impact Report (ECEEIR)

In 2007, The National Economic Development and Law Center (NEDLC) was contracted by the Fresno County Office of Education, Fresno County Early Care and Education Local Planning Council in partnership with First 5, Fresno, to conduct extensive research in Fresno County to develop an Early Care and Education Economic Impact Report.

The NEDLC was commissioned to research and articulate the early care and education in economic development terms and qualify the ways in which the early care and education industry is essential to the local economy.  In addition, the report assists in building local partnerships aimed at increasing the industry’s capacity to respond to the shifting early care and education needs of our county’s families.
