Public Notice: Intent to Submit Application for Grant

Fresno County Office of Education will submit multiple applications to the California Department of Education for the 21st Century Community Learning Centers Program grant. If granted, funds will be used to establish after school programs within 10 districts and 21 school sites that meet the eligibility requirements of the grant. This includes 6 elementary schools, 6 middle schools, and 10 high school sites. The individual schools include: Academy for Civic and Entrepreneurial Leadership (ACEL), Burroughs Elementary, Central High School, Fowler High, Kings Canyon Middle, Lincoln Middle, Lowell Elementary, Martinez Elementary, Orange Center Elementary, Orange Cove High, Parlier High, Riverdale High, Roosevelt High, San Joaquin Valley High, Selma High, Sequoia Middle, Tranquility High, VASA Elementary, West Fresno Elementary, West Fresno Middle, and Yosemite Middle.
After school programs will provide students with academic enrichment activities designed to complement the students’ regular academic program, and provide a safe environment for students participating in the programs.
