FCOE hosts 10th Annual Support Staff Conference

The Fresno County Office of Education’s 10th Annual Support Staff Conference was held on Friday, May 1 at the Golden Palace Event Center. Participants enjoyed a day of professional development and networking with other administrative professionals from within the organization, as well as Fresno County school districts. This year’s theme was “Making a Difference: A Decade of Achievement.”

Rhonda Murphy, a local fitness expert, was the keynote speaker and shared her inspirational message of the importance of staying fit and healthy. Other breakout session speakers included Betsy Hays, Sandra Zambrano, Angel Corona and Jobi Brown.

The 2015 Administrative Professional of the year was awarded to Matt Stewart, Administrative Assistant I at Scout Island. Other nominees included Laura Wascher, Program Secretary in Special Education, and Aleiba Moreno, Program Secretary in Safe and Healthy Kids.
