January Superintendent’s Superstar shines

Juvencio Andrade was honored as the January Superintendent’s Superstar at the monthly Fresno County Board of Education meeting.

Juvencio was the 2015 High School Big Brother of the Year for Big Brothers Big Sisters of Central California. He was a Big Brother in the Selma High School “Bigs” program and has two “Littles,” children he mentors. Growing up, Juvencio did not have anyone to look up to. He says that is the main reason he became involved with Big Brothers Big Sisters. He has always wanted to help children and be an example to them. Juvencio now works at Big Brothers Big Sisters part-time while he attends college.
