November Superintendent’s Superstar shines
At only 5 years old and in transitional kindergarten at Washington Elementary School in the Kingsburg Elementary Charter School District, Crue Allred is a very young man on a mission to celebrate life. He has been involved with Valley Children’s Hospital’s Adaptive Sports program since he was 2 years old. Being in a wheelchair never stops him! He has also participated in basketball, sled hockey and rock climbing.
For the past two years, Crue has competed in the Challenged Athletes Foundation triathlon in San Diego. He is also part of the Life Rolls On Foundation, which involves surfing and WCMX, which are extreme sports using modified wheelchairs.
For his third birthday, Crue held a fundraiser to benefit Valley Children’s Hospital. He is a happy and energetic child who is determined to live life to its fullest.
