The Pink Heals Tour Pays Visit to Fresno

On September 26 and 27, 2012, the Fresno County Superintendent of Schools, in cooperation with many community leaders, joined together for a unique opportunity to raise awareness, educate, and celebrate the efforts to fight and conquer cancer in women, men, and children. As a selected city of the “Pink Heals Tour,” pink fire trucks converged upon Fresno, California. Fresno had the distinct honor of adopting the “Guardians of the Ribbon, Cares Enough to Wear Pink” campaign, and it was an incredible inspiration to all.

The love, hope and support that Pink Heals gives provides strength to the movement and celebrates the women, men, and children who are battling cancer in Fresno. Site visits included: Clovis Elementary School (Clovis Unified), Clovis Fire Station, Children’s Hospital, St. Agnes Medical Center, Fresno City Hall, Fresno Fulton Mall, and Sequoia Middle School (Fresno Unified).
