Waring honored as March Employee of the Month

It is with pleasure that the Fresno County Office of Education honors Virginia Waring, program secretary in Special Education, as the March 2016 Employee of the Month.

For the past several years, Virginia has successfully supported the management of the PIP and CIRCLE autism programs operated by the Special Education department. She is behind the scenes every day ensuring that all aspects of the classrooms run smoothly, including students are routed on buses, enrolled in the attendance system and all records are current. She also supports classroom teachers by being available to answer urgent questions and maintaining program supplies.

Several times per year, Virginia enjoys traveling with her program manager to school sites so she can spend time with the people she supports on a regular basis. In addition to her skill set, Virginia is an amazing co-worker. She builds rapport easily with everyone she encounters.

Virginia, who has been with FCOE for over 15 years, provides outstanding quality of work. She is a team player and covers every detail to benefit the success of her department. Her caring nature is always appreciated and felt among her colleagues.
