April 2024 Employee of the Month

It is with pleasure that we honor Angela Gonzalez, Paraeducator – Integrated Sites in the Special Education department, as the April 2024 Employee of the Month.

Angela currently works in our Special Education classroom supporting students with extensive support needs. She is a model Paraeducator who works hard everyday teaching students to be as independent as possible. Angela knows what her students can and can't do and will encourage them to strive toward their goals so they can be as independent as possible. She provides just enough prompts to promote that independence. It’s amazing how she can teach students to feed themselves and take care of their own personal hygiene. 

Angela consistently demonstrates an exceptional work ethic and dedication to the students in the ESN program. She can always be found going the extra mile to ensure that each student's individual needs are met and that they feel supported and included in the classroom. She enjoys decorating the classroom with monthly themes and celebrating the students on their birthdays. 

Angela's positive attitude and unwavering patience make her an asset to the team. She is a kind and compassionate Paraeducator who has the biggest heart. The program wouldn't be the same without her!
