October 2024 Employee of the Month

It is with pleasure that we honor Crystal Johnston, Paraeducator in Special Education, as the October 2024 Employee of the Month.

Crystal consistently provides meaningful academic and social emotional support to her students. Whether it’s providing individualized attention to help students succeed or fostering a positive and inclusive environment, Crystal is an integral part of her team. She works diligently to ensure that equipment is set up and materials are ready. Crystal has a wonderful ability to adapt to different classroom settings and she is willing to learn and suggest strategies to help students be successful in their classroom activities.

Crystal always has a smile and a positive attitude. She understands the importance of providing access to visuals, token economies and communication support to students. Crystal takes the initiative to keep routines running smoothly and takes the time to prepare materials and art projects for the classroom.
