March 2025 Employee of the Month

We are pleased to honor Laura Arambula-Morelos, Expanded Learning Program Site Lead in the Safe & Healthy Kids department as the March 2025 Employee of the Month. 

Laura is an invaluable asset to Malaga Elementary School and the Expanded Learning Program, consistently going above and beyond in every role she takes on. In addition to her responsibilities as the Before School and After School Program Lead for FCSS, she also works for Fowler Unified School District during regular school hours, demonstrating her incredible work ethic and dedication to her community. 

Her caring and thoughtful nature is evident in everything she does. Laura is always available for her students, parents and community members, ensuring that everyone feels supported and valued. Under her leadership, the Expanded Learning Programs have become a true second home for students. Laura's focus on creating a positive environment is reflected in the engaging activities and academic support her staff provides, which helps direct the students on the path to success.

What truly sets Laura apart in her unwavering enthusiasm, no matter how long her day is. Whether it's 6 a.m. or 6:30 p.m., she greets everyone with a warm smile and positive attitude. Her passion for her work and her belief in the importance of community are not only uplifting but also inspire and motivate those who have the privilege of collaborating with her.
