March 2026 Employee of the Month

We honor Amy Martins, Paraeducator in Special Education/Sutherland, as the Employee of the Month for March 2026.

Amy has been a dedicated and invaluable member of Team FCSS since joining in 1993. After taking time away to focus on her family, Amy returned in 2007 with renewed passion and commitment. She consistently provides exceptional support that helps her students thrive both academically and personally.

Amy is truly a model paraeducator. Her compassionate approach, reliability and outstanding work ethic make her an inspiring example for her colleagues and a trusted advocate for the families she serves. She works very closely with younger students (2nd-3rd grade) on their behavioral and social skills. Her calm demeanor helps her build strong rapport with both students and families.

Amy is always willing to help others on campus with their classes or during unstructured recess. Her experience in special education allows the classroom teacher to trust her with many tasks throughout the day, including running small groups, calendar time and working with students on their individual goals. The teacher shares that she is reliable, punctual and she communicates effectively.
